Ian Filderman is the President of ATB Investment Management Inc. (ATBIM). With 30 years of experience in asset and wealth management Ian has held leadership roles for some of the largest banks and insurance companies in Canada.

Prior to joining ATBIM, Ian was Chief Operating Officer of Canada Life Investment Management and led product for Canada Life's Wealth Solutions business. Over his career he has helped build and manage a range of businesses, including investment fund management, full-service brokerage and advice, institutional asset management and group retirement services. 

Ian is passionate about developing client-centred solutions to help investors and the advisors they work with build and manage their wealth more effectively. His experience spans the globe, having worked both in Canada and Asia, as well as leading teams distributed across multiple geographies and continents. Ian holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from York University and an MBA from the Odette School of Business at University of Windsor.

Ian shares a passion for traveling and exploring the world with his family. He also volunteers as a member of the board of directors for The Fringe of Toronto Theatre Festival.
