Kelly Margaritis is Managing Director, Investment Management Legal & Regulatory at ATB Investment Management (ATBIM). She joined in November 2024 and provides advice and support to the leadership team in navigating complex legal changes, meeting regulatory requirements, product creation, litigation matters, and addressing the priorities of other stakeholders and interest groups.

With over 20 years of senior legal experience, Kelly has held roles at various asset management firms, financial institutions and securities regulators, working closely with senior management, compliance, product and portfolio management teams. Her experience includes launching conventional and alternative retail and institutional products, as well as providing guidance and support on regulatory issues that impact the investment management industry.

Kelly holds her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Queen’s University, her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Securities Law from the University of Toronto, where she wrote her thesis on principle-based securities regulation, and holds a Bachelor of Science from McGill University (B.Sc.). 

Outside of work, Kelly volunteers her time on the Human Rights & Equity Advisory Committee for her local district school board, spending time with family and pursuing physical fitness.
