ATBIS Pools are institutional-grade mutual funds focused on specific exposures, such as Canadian Equity, US Equity, or Fixed Income. They serve as specific building blocks to customize your asset allocation.
The pools are overseen by the ATB Investment Management (ATBIM) Multi-Asset Strategies Team  (Robert Armstrong,  Steve Xu and Ming Fan). While ATBIM designs the overarching strategy and monitors risk, we partner with independent global sub-advisors—such as Mawer, Goldman Sachs, and Canso—to execute daily security selection within each pool.
The right choice depends on your specific financial goals and how you want to customize your overall portfolio. Because ATBIS Pools are focused asset class strategies, they are typically used to target specific markets—such as investing in a core portfolio of global equities, increasing your exposure to US equities, or adding dedicated fixed income to an existing portfolio.

Yes. Because each pool focuses on specific asset class exposures, they are expressly designed to be combined. By blending different equity and fixed-income pools together, you or your advisor can build a fully customized, globally diversified portfolio that aligns exactly with your target asset allocation and risk profile. As well, the pools can be used as core holdings in a diversified portfolio, e.g. using ATB Global Equity Pool as the core investment for global equities.
Detailed investment breakdowns, including the Management Expense Ratio (MER), top 10 holdings, geographic allocations, and historical returns, are updated regularly.
